Bureka (English; Beast Cells) is an experiment attempted by Aku to create a new Tailed Beast. Only four people were experimented on Poji Keisatsu, Kajin Maruku, Karuto Geinin and Aku. The experimented gave Poji, Kajin and Karuto access to Dark Release, gaining it as a Kekkei Genkai, while Aku gained Scorch Release. Bureka has 4 stages and each allows a person a certain ability. Stage 1 Quick Learning allowing a person to quick learn a Rank D to A technique, Stage 2 Taijutsu allowing the person to advance in Taijutsu prowess and Stage 3 Nature allowing a person to passively mix nature types with a Kekkei Genkai and/or Kekkei Tōta. Each stage can only be accessed through dangerous and rigorous training and experiencing intense positive emotions.
Although the negate side of Bureka is that it can destroy a person, if used incorrectly. Allowing ones Anger to boil can start the transformation into their expected beast, and if they fully transform they'll never be able to turn back.
