|Flying Swallow: Dragon King|
|Name||Flying Swallow: Dragon King|
Souka's only defensive technique, he applies the concepts of Chakra Flow found in the original Flying Swallow to a full-body use, enshrouding himself with a thin layer of wind-natured chakra. Because wind release is achieved through manipulating chakra as thin and sharp as possible, this technique turns Souka into a "living knife". The chakra surrounding his body acts just like it does with Flying Swallow, resulting in anything coming in contact with him being sliced apart. This allows for great defensive use, as few direct attacks can make contact and still have their designed effect. Not only that, but all of Souka's physical attacks are enhanced, as he can use his whole body as a deadly, unstoppable weapon. However, Souka rarely utilizes this technique for extended periods, because of the great chakra consumption and the fact that he prefers to fight with his fans than with his bare hands.
Behind the Scenes Edit
- The Flying Swallow is a shōgi piece used in a large-board variant called taikyoku shōgi, which is possibly the most challenging chess-like game in existence, with over 400 pieces of more than 200 types on either side. When promoted, it evolves into a rook. When this piece itself is promoted, it evolves into a dragon king.
