Getsugakure (月隠れの里, Getsugakure no Sato; literally "Village Hidden under the Moon") is a hidden village located in the Land of the Moon. The people of Getsugakure have unofficially dubbed each of its leaders the Getsukage (月影; Literally meaning "Moon Shadow"), signifying their ambition for Getsugakure to be recognized as an equal to the hidden villages of the Five Great Shinobi Nations.
It is a custom for the people of Getsugakure to always give strangers and newcomers warm welcomes, because of an old ancient legend of the village.

- This incarnation of Getsugakure is an combination of both the canon Getsugakure and Tsukigakure; as they are both moon-based villages.
- Many clans of the village are rogues or descendants of various other clans, leading to similar abilities between the two.
