The Izayoi clan (十六夜一族, Izayoi Ichizoku) is a small family from Kusagakure who achieved a mark of nobility for services they provided to the nation in the past. They are noted for their use of Myōan, a kekkei genkai that permits unprecedented control over the balance of spiritual and physical energy within chakra. This is turn has permitted members of this clan to develop several techniques which blend the border of spiritual and physical existence.
