The Nagakura Clan are an old clan located in the Land of Water, with the Clan's Headquarters being only a short one-day walk away from Kirigakure itself. Believed to be formed originally from drifters coming in mainly from Konohagakure and other countries in the past. As a result, the Nagakura Clan are considered oddballs by other Kiri Shinobi.

The Nagakura Clan are renowned for their Hiden-jutsu which allows the clans members to manipulate both Ash and Smoke through their Ash Release and Smoke Release respectively. Members of the clan are generally skilled in Fire, Earth and Wind Chakra natures who are well-known for their balanced skills.

Smoke Release Jutsu[]
Fūinjutsu[]
Not only are the Nagakura Clan skilled in Ninjutsu, especially their own Hiden techniques, but they also have a wide range of knowledge regarding Fūinjutsu (封印術; Literally meaning "Sealing Techniques").
Using their own techniques Nagakura clansmen are capable of sealing objects of a large mass within a much smaller shape, seal away living beings, cut an individual off from their chakra supply and even physically restrain their target(s).
These sealing techniques are derived from the Uzumaki Clan's own sealing techniques. As the clan was originally created from drifters from other countries settling in Kirigakure, this is understandable, though their level of mastery or understanding is nowhere near as pronounced.
