Aiko Apprehension Arc[]

Greetings at Granite Village[]

Hikaku was almost to her last known destination, a small town near Iwagakure. "I will have you Aiko and then they'll see who is superior." he said to himself as he pressed onward to the town. He opened a mamilla folder and looked at the picture inside, making this about the thousandth time. He had come to recognize and despise the face it held within itself. "This is your end."

Minutes later, he came up on the town and immediately found the closest bar, a place he could rest, get a drink, and search for his target. He took a seat at the bar. "Could have a bourbon on the rocks, please?" he asked the bar keep. Seconds later, he set down a glass of bourbon with ice. "Thanks." he said as he took a sip of the beverage. "Before you go..." he said, pulling out the folder again. "You wouldn't happen to know this girl?" he asked, pointing at the face inside.

The bar keep looked intently at the photo. "Doesn't ring a bell. Sorry." he said as he went back to his work. "That's alright." Hikaku said as he put the folder away as he sighed a breathe of frustration. "This might be harder than it looks."

Aiko had ran over 60 miles, she had finally arrived to the outskirts of Iwagakure. Stopping to breathe as she threw herself back onto the forest floor, staring aimlessly into the sky through the tree branches. Several months has transpired since she was labeled a missing-nin, and she knew the clan would send it's own memebrs after her in a ancient honorable tradition whereas it states if a clansmember goes rogue, a member of their clan usually someone in the immediate family must be sent to bring them back before judgement of the clan, a noble execution. Closing her eyes for a brief moment as the wind swirled through her hair and flowed over her flesh, the breeze was a welcome as she didn't waste to much time before getting to her feet and running off bushes once more breaking through out into the open.

4 hours had passed by as she entered a nearby village, a neighbor to Iwagakure, located in the mountain passes.

Hikaku left the bar and had gotten a hotel nearby. It was along the main entrance road of the village so that he could see all passerby's that happened to wonder by. He walked out to the balcony and sat on the ledge, peering over his shoulder at the nearby mountain range. "That looks nice." he thought as he began to kick his feet. A gust of wind suddenly blew through the small town, refreshing the young man from a long days travel. "She has to be hear somewhere." he thought as he closed his eyes to soak in the suns rays. "I just know it."

Aiko had stopped to rest rest herself, the moon was lowly prompting itself up in the sky as the day came to a close. She required a place to stay for the night and thankfully she was a few miles away from a village nearby Iwagakure, Granite Village (花崗岩里, Kakougan Sato). Aiko taking a breather as she relaxes slowly begins her descent into the village. Several minutes had transpired as she made her way into the village, it had generally emtpied streets, however there were still a few outside as they passedby her looking at her strangly, they weren't accustomed to strangers from different lands coming to their village, and it wasn't hard for them to not only realise where she was from judging by her forhead protector but also by her appearance the people easily deducted she was of the Kamiyo Clan. They whispered as they asked themselves why someone of her standing would come into the Land of Earth.

News of her criminal status has yet to make it here...

Hikaku looked and then looked again. "It can't be..." he said to himself as he rubbed his eyes. "It is! It's Aiko!" he said as he went back into his to his room. "I hope she didn't see me!"

Aiko looked around Granite Village, it was a decently small village, "heh, I think i'll be safe to rest here for a few days atleast," she said under her breath as she walked to the nearest hotel asking the man at the desk for a room key, "why here you go miss, room 4 on the second level. And how will you be paying? Cash or coin?" the man asked kindly, "uh i'll do cash thanks," she said taking out her wallet, she was nearly broke but put down 20 dollars for 6 nights. Aiko stretched as she walked up the stairs, down the hall, and into her room locking the door behind her.

A Clash of Lightning: Hikaku vs. Aiko[]

Hikaku sneaked from around the corner, noting that she got a room that was relatively close to his own. He chuckled to himself under his breathe as he easily picked the lock, leaving two shadow clones outside to keep people away from the room. He crept silently into the room but was unable to see his intended target. "Where is she?!" he said to himself as he began to search the room more frantically.

As Aiko walked into the room she looked over the room quickly before deducting where the bathroom was as she walked towards it opening the door, walking inside, and closing the door behind her locking it as it was custom for cleaners and maids to come into the room.Turning on the shower taps.

The shower was running as Hikaku snuck into the room as the bathroom door was locked.

Hikaku continued to walk around the room, hearing a faint, watery sound from the next room. "Hehe. Gotcha." he said to himself as he hid on the other side of the bed, waiting for her to come out.

Fiftheen minutes had transpired before Aiko stepped out of the shower nude, she wrapped a towel around her waist tightening it, as she looked into the mirrior. Drying her hair before unlocking the bathroom door and walking out into the hall way, as she walked into the open living room where the bed was dripping wet.

Hikaku grinned as he heard the door open. "HA-HA! I've got you now!" he declared as he jumped up from the other side of the bed and landing on top of it. He looked down at her and noticed that she was still wet and naked. He let out a yell before backing up and falling off the bed, hitting his head. This caused him to roll and get caught in the curtains in one fell swoop. "Oh my god, YOU'RE NAKED!" he said, pointing out the obvious to the both of them. "You've gotta be kidding me?!"

Aiko jumped at Hikaku as her face went red, as she vanished before Hikakus eyes leaving nothing except a towel behind on the floor. Thankfully there were enough water molecules in the air to sustain stable teleportation a slight distance away. As silence crept over the hotel. Several seconds had occured when suddenly the room bursted into flame sending massive electrical surges at Hikaku enough to blow out the wall onto the empty street below, Aiko stood tall fully clothed.

"That was uncalled for." Hikaku said as he walked into the room, revealing himself to be the genuine Hikaku and the other as a mere shadow clone. There was a single drop blood that ran down his right nostril, as the shadow clones memories and vision had transferred to him upon its untimely demise. "Although I would probably get angry over that too." he grinned as he drew his sword from its sheath. "Anywho, let's get down to business." he said as he rushed the young girl, taking a swing high torwards her neck area.

"You perverted bastard!" she said as she quickly leaped back instantly ackowledging his purpose and assumed he was a hunter-nin sent by the village as she blocks the sword with her right hand, cutting it as blood falls onto the carpet. Luckily her body was enforced by a densified steel endoskeleton however it wasn't trained to be well resistent, meaning she couldn't take direct slashes against this sword as she slightly grunted to the pain quickly drawing her sword from her sheath which was in gripped in her left hand sliding it out. She noticed that there was no water particles in the environment, as she quicly swung her blade attempting to lodge it between Hikakus elbow joins as she cartwheel flipped in the air grabbing onto his back color going around him. Hoping that this lodge would be succesfully to quickly restrain him.

"This girl...!" he said to himself as he he narrowly avoided her sword slash, his hair getting nicked in the process. He could not avoid the cartwheel though as she grabbed on to the back of him. He let out a dull moan as he attempted to escape her grasp.

Aiko's eye watched as the strands fell from his head, "got you.." she let out as her sword twirled in a instaneous mila-second as it slipped back into its sheath while in mid air as she flipped over Hikaku, her sword locked into its sheath as she twirled her body grabbing his flaily right arm with her left foot turning it before she locked the sword between both of Hikaku's elbows twisting his arms into a handcuffed position as stringed wire flowed out of her pouch as it wrapped around Hikakus arms and wrists and the hilt of the sword completely locking it up, tieing him like a prison as she pushed her left hand off his color to try and push him to the ground before she back flipped and land on her feet behind him.

Hikaku squirmed after he was "handcuffed" by the young woman. "That was impressive, but I won't let myself be outdone by a pathetic Bombei pup!" he boomed as the wires were repelled from his wrist and were loosened just enough for him to free himself. He jumped up, forming a series of hand seals before landing on the floor of the hotel. "Wind Release: Torrential Impact!" he boomed as a large and powerful gust of wind blew towards the young woman.

Aiko was slammed into the wall as she let out a gasp before she suddenly dispersed into smoke which flowed out of the giant hole in the room down to the street as it reformed as Aiko was on her knee before standing up as she sighs realizing that this'll take longer then she wanted drawing unecessary attention as the stander bys watched, quickly wrapping her cut hand in wrapping slightly soaped in antibiotics to prevent infection, her sword was back in the hotel room but she didn't have time to worry about a cheap sword at a time like this as she took out a tin popping it open, it held multiple cigarettes as she placed one her her mouth lighting it, putting the rest back into her pocket. The smoke that flowed from the cigarette was bizarre as it wasn't just a gray color scheme but mixed with multiple colors; a curious thing.

Hikaku gazed down below at the young girl. "Smoke Release, just like in the dossier. What a pain." he said to himself as he attracted Aiko's sword to himself. He levitated the sword down to her using repulsion. "Here. I don't want you to be handicapped when I beat you and bring you back to the village." he sneered a he leaped down to the ground below, only meters away from the young woman.

Aiko placed the cigarette out of her mouth before putting it back in as she glanced over to the sword, staring at it for a few seconds prior to walking over to it. She picked up the sword as she swung it throwing the dirt off of its blade before she swung it around in her hand taking a cool stance pointing it at Hikaku as she took the cigarette out of her mouth with her other hand, "Arrogance is what kills, so underestimating the opposition could be fatal." she said placing the cigarette back in her mouth before gribbing it with two hands crouching slightly as colored smoke covered her entire head with an exhale. She ran out of the smoke as she jumped into the air ready to lock blades, "ego has no place in a fight," her face calm and collective.

Hikaku raised his hand to her, renouncing the comment. "Let's not take the high road here Aiko. Especially since you are a criminal and missing-nin." he said a he repelled her sword from her hand using the same hand that was still raised. He used his other free hand to take his sword and swing it at her abdomain area.

She made no comment to that as she purposely let go of the blade, it was soaked in water which came out of her left arm, in a split second to Hikaku's vision she vanished, teleporting onto the tip of the blade, "criminal or not, the difference in this situation is, you're not paying attention," she said while forming hand seals, "Smoke Release: Erupting Smoke!" inhaling black fumes seconds before she exhaled them at Hikaku point blank.

Hikaku quickly inhaled one last breathe of fresh air as the smoke instantly surrounded him. "Damn!" he thought as he formed a series of hand seals. "Wind Release: Gale Shockwave!" he said as he was quickly surrounded by wind that dispelled in a 360 degree wave around his body, dispelling the smoke. He jumped back up to the top of floor of the inn, attempting to think of a better counterattack then using constant bursts of wind.

The smoke blew past into the air as it ignited into a explosive field of smoke above the village. Aiko back flipped as she landed onto the ground stumbling a bit backwards before maintaining a solid stance once more. Aiko observed Hikaku as she sprayed a ton of water into the air as the smoke blast went off. She took form as she stepped forward vanishing to the eye, she was in dead sight of Hikaku for the finish, a clear path of instant teleportation. The water particles pasted through her vision and in that split half-second a shadow arose that neither of the two could even make out as Aiko widened her eyes, a figure smashed her face into the ground, the shadow covering face as long red hair drooped down. It was unbelievably in the shere speed and pure methodical calculations that the figure completely tackled Aiko out of no where while in mid teleportation. The man stood crouching with his knee embeded into her back with a grin, "tag...", as Aiko gulped, it became clear to Hikaku this man was no random shinobi, it was Kamera Kamiyo!!

Arrival: Fight for Survival - Hikaku and Aiko RUN![]

Hikaku gripped his head with his hand. "Oh man. Not ANOTHER one!" he declared as he gazed upon the two Kamiyo clan members. Hikaku jumped down from where he had posted himself earlier to avoid the smoke. "Sorry Kamera. I got here first." he said as he quickly formed a tiger hand seal. "Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!" he boomed as a large dragon-shaped fireball was expelled from his mouth. He fired off two more in rapid succession, making a three pronged attack from Kamera's front center, his left, and his right respectively. The fireball's narrowly avoided Aiko's back, but avoided her nonetheless, displaying his masterful use of fire techniques. "I won't let you take my kill Kamera! I've worked too hard for this!"

A second transpired as Kamera smiled grabbing Aiko by the back of her throat, "speaking to me so casual as if you are on my level, laughable!" Kamera completely vanished with Aiko as suddenly all the fireballs frozen instanteously before coliding, as they exploded into ice fragments. Aiko suddenly fell behind Hikaku to his surprise as Kamera directly appeared infront of him with a grin as he chucked, "you're skill might stand ground against genin, but not me..." his camera flashed, Aiko's shoulder turned to ice as she jumped in the way pushing Hikaku out of it, but luckily she didn't take the full force as Kamera elbowed her a fair distance across the dirt in the face. As blood dripped from Aiko's mouth.

Hikaku looked at Aiko as he lay on the ground. "Why did she do that? Dumbass, I tried to kill her!" he said as he jumped up to his feet. He took a stance that he commonly used for his taijutsu fighting style, Ripple Fist. He jumped at Kamera, making a series of highly unpredictable somersaults, backflips, front flips, punches, and kicks. His movements seemed majestic, a if he was dancing. No Movements were wasted and every movement, no matter how faint, was designed to cause damage to the opponent. This, coupled with his abnormally high level of strength and speed, made his attacks as devastating as a tiger's strike. He hit Kamera in several places; his chest, his arms, and his legs, although they had little effect on his steel body although they still served as a descent distraction for Aiko to gain some lost momentum.

Aiko stood up slowly as blood streamed from her mouth, it was a elbow enough to make a steel endoskeleton bleed. Kamera grunted in annoyance at Hikaku as he layed direct hits on him, Kamera even with his eyes and speed couldn't predict Hikaku's Ripple Fist, but his body had been trained to be resistent which became clear as Hikaku layed hits onto Kamera, the endoskeleton structure smashing against his fists. Kamera stepping back as suddenly Aiko appeared directly behind him using her water flicker technique, she appeared to have retrieved her katana as she swung, it was obvious the swing was meant to injure rather then kill. The sword sliced across his abdomen, as Hikaku landed a direct blow onto Kameras face as he spit out saliva with the impact before Aiko placing her sword onto her back, her shoulder was still frozen. Aiko once more used Smoke Release: Erupting Smoke giving Hikaku enough time to distance himself as Kamera appeared to be disorientated, the fumes cover the area and in one final move igniting into a massive blast which even singed the roof tops.

Aiko fell to her knees gripping her left shoulder. Ten minutes had passed as the smoke still loomed heavily on the environment. Out of the smoke in rapid speed came a shadow, so fast Aiko could only let out a partial gasp before a hand grabbed and clenched her face, it was Kamera unscathed by the blast with a minor cut across his back where Aiko slashed him. His strength was impressive as his fingers dug into Aiko as he lifted her by just her face. Suddenly surprising Hikaku a Earth Clone came out of no where behind him as Kamera stood there smiling, "boom" the clone exploded at point blank range.

The explosion was vast as a large log came flying out of the smoke, signifying that a substitution had been made. Hikaku used the hectic blast to form a Rasengan and ran at Kamera while using Aiko as a blind spot. He rushed at his abdomen with the Rasengan as he simultaneously hit him and grabbed Aiko so that she didn't recoil with him. He took Aiko and jumped back on the roof of the inn rather than the open floor and looked at Kamera from a distance. The Rasengan was ineffective in piercing the steel endoskeleton but did cause severe damage to the outer skin of his abdomen and tattered his clothes. "You okay?" he asked Aiko a he set her down on the roof. He placed two pills in her mouth, a Blood Increasing Pill and a Military Ration Pill respectively. "Let's go. There is no way that I am going to have to watch over you AND fight him." he said to Aiko as he pointed to Kamera.

"I've been too lenient with these brats..." Kamera said blood dripped from his mouth before he stood up as he glared at them with his shirt torn off, watching Hikaku carry Aiko away in the distance, "well I can't go back to the village without her, and i'll have to notify the village that Hikaku is now a criminal of the Land of Lightning," he said as he slowly walked out of the rubble of the collapsed wall as he slowly walked in the direction they were going.

Aiko groaned as she slowly opened her eyes and lifted her head before going unconcious as her head rested against Hikakus shoulder.

Hikaku breathed a frustrated sigh as he removed his T-shirt and bunched it into a ball. "Great. Perfect time to pass out. I swear, you Kamiyo are really something else." He stated distastefully as he rested her head down on his shirt. He went over to the edge of the building to spot Kamera. He noticed that he was on his way over to the two and, since he knew he was outclassed, although just barely, he knew he would need help. He crossed his middle and index fingers on each hand, forming a cross. Multiple Shadow Clone Technique." he said as he created about two hundred clones, all of which immediately surrounded Kamera. "That should hold him for a while." he said as he laid back in an attempt to rest.

Several hours had passed as Aiko opened her eyes, she had a throbbing headache as she groaned, Kamera's physical strength could have crushed her skull. She noticed her katana was placed by her side as she sat up gribbing her head. Rubbing her legs, scratches we all over her, turning her head she saw Hikaku resting beside her. He had nearly died from over exhaustion of chakra using the shadow clones technique. She looked up to the sky as the day was aging slowly, it wasn much darker then before she passed out. Stumbling to her feet as she looked around her, she was at a undiclosed location somewhere in the forest, she was deciding which way to go. Aiko didn't wish to kill him even though it would be quite easy at this point and would rather continue to remain alone as she ventured.

Hikaku and Aiko[]

Hikaku woke up a few minutes later, rubbing his head as he rose slowly. "What's going on?" he looked over and noticed that Aiko was gone. "Oh no you don't! I am not going to let my work be for nothing!" he said as he jumped to his feet, immediately using his skills from the Kinkaku Force to sniff out and sense the enemy, even though he himself was not a sensor-nin. He figured out that Aiko was less than a quarter mile away and that she was still moving, but slowly. He went to walk, but then fell over, as his stamina was fairly low. He quickly ate five military ration pills and rose to his feet again about a minute later. He quickly took off in the direction that she was heading and expected to be on her again within five to eight minutes.

Aiko had nearly walked a mile as she leaned over placing her hand on the tree to her side, she was still a bit dizzy. Her long red hair kept flowing down over her face as she moved it out of her face constantly. She suddenly collapsed onto the ground gripping her head as she let out muffled screams, the steel of her endoskeleton had dented, ushing up tightly against her skull, as tears let out unintentionally from the pain. Aiko continued to crawl slowly across the ground.

Hikaku's feet suddenly appeared before Aiko. "Thought you could get away, eh Aiko?" he grabbed her by the back of her shirt and hosted her up to her feet. "Let's go. You are coming back to the village with me." he said as he looked her straight in the face, although her hair was drapped over her eyes.

"You know my clan will have your head, and going out of the village without permission and attacking Kamera will resault in you also becoming a criminal listed in the bingo book," Aiko stated as she pinched Hikakus arms tight as she vomited all over his chest.

Hikaku flinched as she expelled her vomit. "What?!...I...you...ARGHHH! Why didn't you aim the other way?!" he said as he set her down by a tree. He quickly found a nearby lake and jumped into it, cleansing himself of the impurities expelled on him. He came back and wiped off her face, rubbing the excess on his pants. "You know, for a Kamiyo, you sure are weak." he mocked as he nicked her head a few times with his special sword. "This sword magnetized whatever it cuts. Hold still." he said as he attracted the metal that was dented by Kamera's grip, instantly relieving the pain. "How's that?" he asked bluntly as he sheathed his sword and took of his shirt. He wrung it dry before placing it back on over his head again.

"Weakness is a intriguing concept," was all she said on the matter as she grunted with the sword pulling her her skull relieving the preasure. "It feels much better thank you," Aiko let out a sigh in relief, she looked up once more leaning against the tree, "what I said 40 minutes ago still stands, it would be impossible for you to return to the village at this point without grievous consequences."

Hikaku sighed a breathe of frustration, most likely aimed at Aiko. "I know that, just let me think!" he snapped as he went into a state of deep and concentrated thought.
