Rin Hōzuki (鬼灯リン, Hōzuki Rin) is the Sixth Mizukage (六代目水影, Rokudaime Mizukage; Literally meaning "Sixth Water Shadow") of Kirigakure. A former pupil of the previous Mizukage, Mei Terumī, Rin succeeded her former master as the village head of Kirigakure after Mei Terumī resigned on accounts of her advancing age. She is famous throughout the shinobi world for her skills with Water Release techniques and her striking beauty, both playing some part in her earning the epithet of Kirihime (霧姫, Mist Princess).

Rin is a beautiful young woman with blue hair, dark blue eyes and a curvaceous and attractive figure. She normally keeps her blue hair long with curls on the outside. She is normally dressed in a navy blue coat, a fur shawl with the a white cloth doll attached to the front of it as well as a Russian Cossack hat.
