Naruto 623 - A Glimpse[]

Naruto Chapter 623 - A Glimpse

Oh boy was this chapter full of feels. And I mean feels everywhere. Sorry though, I've been, I had a bunch of work to do (that's explained in the BLEACH section), and then I got wrapped up in Storm 3 (the story mode of which I have beaten, excuse me while I breakdance). Now, let's get into the meat and potatoes of this review. If you're a vegetarian, suck it up and eat.

So Hashirama and Madara continue to meet, training and and talking ideas over. As it goes, they truly are good friends, despise the clashing personalities that would put them at opposing sides later. Sadly, they can't even drop hints as to who they are, Madara stopping himself when he nearly revealed he had a Sharingan. This actually irks me. Not with the chapter, but just how all this works. You can't even make a new friend without having to be suspicious or fearful.

Protectmylittlebrother
Yeah...there's no way saying this can backfire on me ever.

They discuss making a village, something Hashirama is enthusiastic about, and Madara agrees, as it would be a place where he could protect his little brother. They continued to play and chat in the area that would later become Konohagakure. SADLY, fate intervenes, with Hashirama's father forcing the boy to try and tail Madara and fight out information about him, after revealing his new friend is of the Uchiha. When they meet again, however, they use stone skipping as a greeting, and their stones contain warnings to each other. Telling them to run, because it's a trap.

And with this, I now hate the families.

BLEACH 529 - Everything But The Rain Op. 2[]

SADLY, I am too lazy to review BLEACH this week. I enjoyed it, (and Aizen was here, coincidence, I think not), but I had a shitton of work today, helping Ma break apart this wierd brick circle with a mallet (Oh God, I ENJOYED SHATTERING THOSE BRICKS, IT WAS SUCH A STRESS RELIEVER), and pushing a bloody car into a better parking position, so I'm tired as a mofo. Instead me reviewing it....so...Tekking?

Now....let's bring up the scoreboard.

Overall Chapter Excellent

Naruto's art is always good, 10/10. The story was excellent. We're learning the core of Madara's relationship with Hashirama, and it is touching. I couldn't ask for a better backstory unless the Sage appeared. The ending of this chapter was suspenseful and touching. I think Kishi really knows how to deliver. 10/10. Overall? An Excellent chapter.

Art 9/10
Story 7.8/10

Overall Chapter Very Good

Bleach's art is always good, Kubo gets a 9/10. The story, just like with Naruto, we're getting some backstory, and I'm actually happy with how it's progressing. While we're not learning anything we haven't assumed, it's nice to receive confirmation. 7.8/10. Overall, the chapter is Very Good, I enjoyed it, tho I find it funny this is the first chapter I've enjoyed in ages and it just happens to be the first chapter Aizen has been in in ages.

BearWithMe

Bleach and Naruto are all done for today, and Naruto is on break next week. Bleach should be back though. I enjoy comments, and as always, I don't care if you keep them clean, you all can bicker and pull each other's ears and poke your eyes out all you want. The comments section is a battleground. Until next week, I'll see you later.
